Consume Alma Grand Opening!

Consume Cannabis Co. is happy to announce the opening of its newest Michigan location, Consume Cannabis Alma, on Friday November 20, 2020. The provisioning center is located at 528 W Warwick Drive Alma, MI 48801. Consume Alma will open with an abundance of caution, following all mandates from the state of Michigan and the Michigan Department of Public Health.

Consume Alma will serve central Michigan’s medical marijuana patients with a variety of products including flower, concentrates, vapes, edibles, and accessories from Michigan manufacturers. In addition, patients will also be able to purchase Consume branded accessories, hats, and shirts. Orders can be placed in person, at an in store kiosk, or online.

Consume Alma has a number of safety precautions in place to ensure all COVID-19 protocols are followed. Social distancing and masks will be required in the dispensary. Staff will check the temperatures of everyone entering the dispensary and increase cleaning in high-contact areas.

“We are thrilled to begin serving patients in Alma and the surrounding communities. Consume has strong focus on providing guidance and education to the clients we serve, as well as quality, lab-certified products for relief and a better quality of life,” says Jake Coward, Vice President of Retail Operations at Consume Cannabis Co.  “While we are only able to serve those with medical registry cards at this time, we encourage anyone to come by and collect more information on the [Michigan Medical Marijuana] program and find the alternatives available to them now at Consume.”

In accordance with the latest emergency order, Consume Alma will operate at 30% total occupancy and only one customer at a time will be permitted to enter. In order to maintain social distancing, there will be signs and markings to enable customers to stand at least six feet apart while waiting to enter the facility and in the waiting room. Additionally, the provisioning center offers online ordering and curbside pickup for added safety.

“We understand that we are opening a provisioning center during unprecedented times, however we do want to reassure the city of Alma and the community that we are taking the emergency order seriously and that the health and safety of our patients and staff is our top priority,” says Coward.

Consume Alma will be open from 10 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and 10 am to 7 pm on Sundays.
